| William D. Barton is Vice President of Finance of Wilden Pump & Engineering, LLC, the world's largest manufacturer of air operated, double diaphragm pumps. Wilden is a subsidiary of Dover Corp., a Fortune 500 firm. Barton has worked extensively internationally for 25 years, managing firms located in Latin America and Europe. Barton has a strong international background in the financial management of U.S. subsidiaries operating overseas and has successfully integrated manufacturing companies, building increasing shareholder value in France, Spain, Italy, and Germany. Barton is currently focusing on integrating and supporting the growth of Wilden's newly acquired business in Germany (Almatec GmbH), China (Wei Li), and Argentina (Wilden Argentina) as well as spearheading further improvements to the company's manufacturing and operating control systems. Fluent in Spanish, French, and Italian, Barton firmly believes that sensitivity and understanding of the market cultures in which American firms do business globally represents the long-term key to maximizing global operating results and shareholder value from foreign operations. Barton holds a BA (summa cum laude) in Economics and Accounting from Ohio University ('76) where he was President of the National Accounting Honorary Society his senior year. He received his MBA from Thunderbird, the Garvin School of International Management ('80) where he concentrated in International Finance and World Affairs. |
